Hello, I'm Gabriel Santos, I'm 19 years old. I started the Letras course in UFMG during the middle of 2010. Although many people think, this course isn't just to become a teacher, for example, I intend to be a translator. Well, I had some experience being a teacher in a project called EDUCONLE, that envolves classes to public school's teachers. It was good but it's not what I want to do for living. During the summer, I worked as translator in the Cirque Du Soleil show Varekai. It was an amazing experience and I want to continue in the area.

Hello, I am Gabriel Santos, I'm 19 years old. I started the Languages course at UFMG in the second semester of 2010.When I say that I take this major, many people think that my purpose is to become a teacher, but that's a mistake. In my case, I am studying to become a translator. I had some experience being a teacher in a project called EDUCONLE, that involves giving classes to teachers from public schools. It was good but it's not what I want to do for living. During the summer, I worked as a translator in the Cirque Du Soleil show Varekai. It was an amazing experience and I want to continue in the area. During this course I expect to learn how to use the internet in my favor to produce good texts, what will someday help me in the translator career. I have always enjoyed using digital tools in my studiesand now I am learning even more.
